There's a Quattraporte at my local Porsche dealership with 16k on it going for $32k at my local Porsche dealership. I may get it as my new family hauler.

Reliability is ok, it's the maintenance that is absurd. Seems the clutches last 8-10k and they're about 4k to replace.

My cousin bought his 2013 Jaguar XK R Coupe that retailed at $109,000 for $78,000 because he was an existing Jag Customer (they gave him employee pricing).

Mmmm I want them to go down moar!
Because hopefully that would translate to further depreciation for F-Type coupes as well....
I've been keeping an eye on F-Type coupes for a while - that's the car I want to get. But it retails for too much :(

I have heard of this happening before. It is elusive and magical!
But I'd have to buy one Jaguar before I (hopefully) get something like this on the second?
That would mean Jaguar has to make two cars I want! So far, they have made only one (F-Type Coupe). And I don't even have enough to pay for that lol

He's a little older - he's on his third Jag. He got an XF on lease a few years back - he thought he got robbed on the lease rate on the first one, and it proved to be true. He went to another dealer (the one he later got the XK from), and they put him in a new XJ for $50 less a month than the XF.
Apparently he betrayed the first dealer by doing so (they were working out a deal on the XJ, but he chose the better dealer), and they told him it'd be wise if he didn't take his car their for service ever again.
Given that dealer being 10 minutes away, versus the one he bought his at being an hour away, he took the new XJ there for an oil change.
They weren't lying about it being stupid to come back to that dealer...
The 'Oil Change' took them 8 days to complete!

Holy shit ._.
Car dealers...man. I have nothing against them as people, I just don't like the business model. The idea that someone else should make money off of me because I'm buying a car doesn't sit well with me.
